We bought this as a first camera for our 12 year old daughter. She has used my camera and loves to make videos with her friends, so she is fairly experienced with a digital camera. First discouraging feature is no sound on the videos during play-back. The software includes a video editing program, but we have yet to figure out how to get it to work. When changing the flash feature, which defaults to no flash whenever you make any feature changes, it takes several seconds for the change to process. The manual is little help and we haven't even tried to contact customer service. Overall, disappointing and discouraging[...].
