First of all, although the wider lens is nice, this camera has very poor performance with low light conditions compared to my Canon G9. I bought it for the waterproof capability. I used it under water one time, and followed all the instructions. I have to say some of the underwater photos were decent if enough light was present. The second time, the camera failed to turn on whatsoever, and I missed taking pictures of sea turtles.
