Nikon coolpix L18 has a poor quality. I bought it in Nov. 08 and in March 09 the LCD screen start to fail on and off. Finally the screen went completely black. Still under warranty i sent the camera for repair. Nikon did not fix the camera free of charge because they said I drop the camera. they told the same to a friend of mine with the same problem. Nikon wants to charge me 103.00 dollars to fix it. I declined the repair. I will never buy a Nikon product again. To get away from fixing a problem Nikon tells you that you drop the camera.
